I’ll never forget Ezrah’s Hands’ first Christmas. I was using my parent’s living room to store toys, late-night shopping trying to fill specific gift requests, balancing my checkbook hoping there will be enough for this “cute idea I saw on Pinterest” and this feeling of being completely in over my head.
Then the emails began pouring in. SO. MANY. PEOPLE. Every child was ‘adopted,’ my TO-DO list was distributed and my friends and family were introduced to a couple of amazing families I have the privilege to work with. The day I delivered the gifts we opened the van door to reveal roof to floor gifts, I’ve never heard so many gasps and squeals from the little ones (and the big kids too).

“I’ve never seen so many presents!!”
“Are these socks? I really need socks!”
“I hope that big one is mine…oh, and this one”
These precious little ones were overwhelmed by your generosity. They still ask about you, ask your name, ask about your kids…and I tell them! I happily share about you, your family, and why you give to them….strangers who care SO much. And they always stop and listen intently, even the big kids who usually are busy texting…stop. And listen about YOU. Thank you for helping me show these kiddos they are LOVED, that people can care even when they haven’t met because we are called to care for orphans with great love.
This year we have kids who need to be adopted. ONE gift, ONE clothing item, or ONE pair of shoes. But I also want them to know YOU. Even if you are unable to give this year, please send a Christmas card with your name addressed to the ‘Mister.’ They love pictures of you too. And I will happily tell of your thoughtfulness, generosity, and care for Ezrah’s Hands kiddos and their MISTERS.
Gifts are needed by December 19th. Please email me if you would like to participate this year. Or contribute online through our secure PayPal account. 100% of donations will go to our kids and MISTERS. Pass along this email to your friends and family and encourage others to GIVE, mail cards, and share with their families about our MISTERS.
